TL of Network Platform: service mesh, edge network, VPC network, and multi-region/multi-cloud connectivity.
Hi I'm Weibo He. I am a software engineer living in Bay Area specializing in building large-scale infrastructure for web-scale applications. I have multiple years of experience working at companies like Amazon, Google & Twitter. As a cloud native expert, I design and build the foundational systems that power traditional distributed applications at massive scale, and more recently, AI workloads.
Currently, I am a Cloud Infrastructure Tech Lead at Airbnb, focusing on multi-region architecture, service mesh, and cloud networking solutions that serve hundreds of millions of users globally. With the rise of AI, I'm now also building infrastructure that enables modern AI applications to scale efficiently alongside our traditional services.
